QiuFen located on top of the hillside. In Taipei, transportation is very convenient, many of the places can be reached from MRT or High-speed train. However, QiuFen you can only come here by cab or by bus.
QiuFen spectacular view of the mountains and the seas. Cold breeze slowly blowing and here is just mesmerizing.
2nd shot of the same view. Just in case I shaked the camera while taking. Can't afford to ruin this nice view.
Houses which built along the hillslope. QiuFen can be considered a village before it became a tourist hot spot.
This shop sells tea. Chinese tea of course. Hot water boiling in the middle in clay pot.
Key chains and magnets of Taiwan Ethinic Groups figurine. Very nicely made. But a little pricey at NTD50 each. Buy 10 free 1, so V and I grabbed 11. Detailed snaps of what we purchased in another post later.
Exotic foods.. snails on BBQ. I didn't try any.
Alishan tea leaves up for sale at NTD300 each. Didn't buy any as well. Not really a chinese tea lover.
Taiwan speciality glutineous balls made of yam or sweet potato. Didn't try this hand made version but I did try the chain stall version back in Taipei.
Various titbits freshly made. Mostly it is nut based. All are free to try. We bought some peanut based candy. Caught CJ snacking the candies on camera :)
Live hand-made clogs for sale. However, I am not interested.
QiuFen view from bottom of hill.
