Team work design game @ Stress Management Class

Designing and constructing this model here to be a bridge would look funny. With this bridge model, it looks like an art class rather than stress management. I personally think it looks like a dog, horse or anything four legged.

Well, this is an outcome of a task to build a bridge 6" x 6" which can holds two weigths (roughly 500grams each) with an observation deck and a flag pole on top of the deck. We were given 20 minutes and 20 straws plus masking tape to start with.

At the end of the day, though this doesn't looks like any bridge at all, it met all its requirements. Hooray. Only 2 teams managed to complete all the requirements out of 4. Of course, the bridge was constructed with engineering mind and studies of strength of straws and weakness of it. But I dont think anyone is interested in it.

Hard to believe? Believed it.

P/S: We are going to do the same at IIMGP (secret acronym) for Chung Hwa Secondary School next friday.
