Aquaria located at KL Convention Centre. It is accessible thru Suria KLCC as well. Entrance fee for Mykad/Mykid holder is RM28 and RM22 respectively. Others are RM38 and RM26.

Silver looking dull fish? It is piranha.
FYI, piranha is forbidden to be imported in Malaysia. I believe they got special permits.
So this is not something you can buy in Malaysia even you have money.

Piranha on feast. Bite and pull.

Err... so fast gone. Let's see how fast.

18 seconds.

Funny looking shell marine animal. Sometimes can see in seafood restaurant they sell this.

It is time for feeding. Here is a turtle eating a small fish.

It does looks small. About the size of 50 cents coin. It pack deadly poison which can kill 50 mens. The facts are from discovery channel.

Spidey shot taken especially for Sebastian. :)

Hairy spidey.

Hermit crabs. Nice warm red colour.

Ulgy looking toad.

Spot gecko enjoying his "sun" bath.

Gecko on the glass.

Gecko eye.

Handsome monitor lizard. I think the lighting makes it look good.
My best shot in Aquaria I think.
The reason it looks good is also because it pose for me. Unlike those fishes which swims around constantly.. hehehhe.

Tropical fish in a cylinder.

Unknown fish with see-thru fins.

Somehow this fish always swim to the surface and wave at us.
Fish is like dog? This fish wags its fins. Dog wags its tail.

An aquaria is never complete without sharks. Look at its teeth.

Sharkfins.. soup.... eyes drooling. Just kidding. I eat fake sharkfins.

Turtle also very nice.

Nemo.. Nemo.. Nemo..
So many small kids shouting and talking to Nemo here.
Clown fish :)

Nemo close up.

Nemo side view.

Mr turtle again.

Big fish. They call him BoB.

Caught this perfect moment. Mr turtle eating from the diver's hand.
Just the moment is right, settings are wrong and image is slightly blurred.
So I use Picasa 3 to blur out the other areas.

Very very big stingray on display. Stringray generally is safe. But that is how Steve Erwin (crocodile hunter) pass away too. He sting by a stringray directly thru his heart.

Look how big the stringray is.

Stingray on feed.

Colourful fish.

Lobster on display.
Generally it is worth to come Aquaria. Come and enjoy.
P/S: Although underwater world in Bangkok does seems to have more stuff to see.
