Water droplet shooting has been in Digital Camera magazine's taught technique for a couple of months. I tried it before in Ipoh but without much setup.Today, I retried with wireless flash, camera on tripod and backdrop.
Started with brown box backdrop. I able to shoot some nice still shots but lack of the shot I wanted.
Switched to red paperbag backdrop. Results is much better.
The red colour being a little funny is due to compression software. I checked, the original shot don't have the problem.About just nice.
Way too early but accidentally shot this big splash.
1st wave building up.
About right but not symmetrical.
