Bee Giak Nyonya Cuisine @ Ipoh Garden South, Ipoh

Bee Giak Restaurant serve variety of nyonya food. Internal and external decorations looks like olden days chinese home.

There are sets and ala carte. We ordered medium set plus tong po meat (lean and fat pork belly stewed in thick sauce).

Curry fish. Pretty good.

Home made Taufu.

Ostrich meat with spring onion and leek.

Tong Po Meat (pork belly stewed in thick sauce). Very tasty. Will come back from more.

The pau which goes along with Tong Po Meat.

Cuttlefish dish.
The verdict is Bee Giak restaurant serves great food. I personally think that the service is good. However, the 2nd visit by my mother-in-law didn't get the good service I get and food ordered seems wrongly delivered.
If you dont mind the inconsistent service and go for food only, this is a place of choice.

Belated US food post

Kabobi's lamb shank with basmathi rice. Very flavorful and dont have the lamb's sou mei.

Fresh salad with balsamic vinegar. I personally dont like it.

Upside down Panda Express's kung pao chicken, string beans and fried rice.

Fried noodle with chicken skewer (satay) at flee market somewhere in portland.

Smoked pork ribs, french fries and baked beans. Looks bad but tastes good. All from Reo's Ribs.

Delicious baskin robbin ice creams in waffle cone. Eat this while waiting for plane in Portland airport.

Olive Garden's fettucine alfredo with prawns and scallops.

Very nice bread sticks. Best served with dip sauce below.

Alfredo dip sauce. Cost 3.50. But worth the price. Taste very good with bread sticks.

Minestrone with shredded cheese. Looks like worm huh?

Pork rice with salad in one of the vietnamese restaurant. Not Pho Hung, Pho something which is nearer to JF.

Teriyaki chicken rice served with steam vege and fried dumplings. If I am not mistaken, it is called set A.

Steam fish with soy sauce in Powell Seafood. This fish is fresh, just saw him swimming around few moments ago.

Fried wanton noodles topped with seafood and sticky sauce. Very similar to Penang's version of 煎生面

String bean with chicken. Nice vege. A little like long beans but thicker and juicier.

Jumbo A. Wanton noodle with duck, BBQ pork, dumpling and roast pork. Every ingredient in there is so good. Best is the roast pork.
New shop in Beaverton. Not really sure about the shop name, by just left of TV highway. Can ask Javier if you want to go.

Freshy made chocolate ice cream brought in Cannon Beach.

Clam (lala) chowder, garlic bread and fried cod fish as my lunch at cannon beach. Soup is great. Fried cod, not really my liking. I prefer steamed.

Mongolian grill. Noodle, veges, meats. Everything you want, can dump it in.
