Individual pot steamboat @ Aroi Steamboat, Bercham, Ipoh

Aroi steamboat located at Bercham, Ipoh (behind Bercham Trade Centre). I used to come here when I am still a kid. Came back to this place after a long while, nothing really changed, still good and same concept.

It is the steamboat with small individual pot. It comes with 2 types of soup base, tomyam or chicken broth. I personally like the tomyam's better.

Here is the mixed seafood set without crab. There is another set with crab. The seafood here is very fresh especially the prawns. Go order more prawns from ala-carte menu. 

It has fish fillet, squid, jelly fish, clam "abalone", lala (clam), prawns, enoki straw mushroom. Comes with noodles too. The set cost RM29+. 

Fishball set. Varieties of fishball. This is more economical, cost RM10.

Thin sliced beef as sukiyaki. Delicious with tomyam. Forgotten how much this cost :)

Fresh big prawns. It is sweet by itself. Lovely.

Each sets also comes with an egg.

New wantan noodle from old town. Noodle not as good as plus two, wantan not as good as ipoh's stadium stalls. Order it if you have no other choices.

V's preparation for studio photo shoot

V bought the fake eye lashes and ampoule from Colourline in Prangin Mall. Initially we wanted to buy from a cosmetic shop along Jalan Magazine but it ran out of stock. Ampoule from Colourline is RM60 for 10 bottles but cost RM8 per bottle. We bought the whole pack because it is cheaper. The cosmetic shop cost RM5 per bottle.

New bedsheet for wedding day

Chinese customs is all about red here red there during wedding day. We don't have the extra cash to purchase a new bed/mattress yet, so we pamper ourselves with new red bedsheets made of cotton sateen. It is purchased during Parkson sale period so I think it is kinda worth it. 

New pots from La Gourmet as wedding gift

V's aunt & grandma wanna gave us pots for wedding gift. Initially they wanted to buy AMC pot for us. I never heard of AMC before but apparently they are very expensive. 2 piece already reaching RM2k. So V and I suggested we buy it ourselves a set of La Gourmet pots instead. 

Pot and pans are symbol of beginning of a new family.
