Fusion Lunch @ Little Castle Cafe, Batu Maung

There is a restaurant at Batu Maung, near OCBC bank named Little Castle Cafe. I been here only once but it is full house. Probably due to Friday lunch. We ordered iced peach tea and chocolate blended drink.

Mushroom soup tasted okay only. The second picture is three musketeer (sausage, chicken chop and fish). Chicken tasted best followed by sausage then fish. V took curry chicken set which comes with a fried fish and fried egg. All curry chicken comes in drumstick (V only eats drumstick).

Overall the dining experience is good. Recommended for lunch. Come early or call for booking. Telephone is 04-646 2212

Had dinner last nite (21July08) at Little Castle, ordered the London fish and chips, when it arrived on my table, first impression already bad, fish batter is totally over-fried, dark brown colour, soaked with oil, fish meat taste 'fishy' (sign of fish not fresh) and worst of all the batter has 'blackish burnt oil stains/specs' all over. Complained to the manager, no action taken at all, instead they just say "its like that la, the london fish and chips like that wan, the 'burnt oil specs' comes from the oil itself, nothing we can do about it" and just walked away. Wah!!.. at that point i really wanted to scream at her but i calmed myself down and chose to just leave the restaurant. From now on, No more Little Castle for me. If anyone wants to try their London Fish and Chips, pls be caution...Not sure how their other dishes fare but I wont be back to find out.

wow, sounds like an aweful experience. it sucks when complained and manager says nothing they can do.

but again i seldom complain about food. i just write bad things about them. i am afraid that they will "change" it and add some "unknown" stuff to my meal.

sorry for recommending this place to you. i personally didnt encounter that.
