31st.. Baskin Robbin Day

Today is 31st of May. So all hand-packed baskin robbin ice-cream which sold in tubs (pint [pronoun as pine], quart and half gallon) are entitled with 31% discounts.

It is hard to miss 31st when you see BR as there will be tonnes of people inside whereby normally you hardly see anyone. For those unexperienced (once I am unexperienced), you will need to queue up to an hour for the beloved ice-creams. The TIP is, go to BR on 30th, make you order and pay for it. Of course you wont be able to get it yet as the discounted price only valid on 31st. So on 31st, you just need to grab it from BR. No queues and they will already pack your ice-cream and store in the big fridge. Saves you a lot of time by doing so.

We typically only purchase one tub and only 1 flavour. Namely Chocolate Mousse Royalle. This round we are more enthusiatic :) and purchased 2 tubs and 2 flavour each. V's is Chocolate Mousse Royalle mix with Maui Brownie Madness and mine is Chocolate Mousse Royalle and Gold Medal Ribbon.

Some intro for those not familiar with BR flavours. Chocolate Mousse Royalle is chocolate ice cream with flakes of hard chocolate; Maui Brownie Madness is chocolate ice-cream with bits of brownies cake; Gold Medal Ribbon is vanilla and chocolate ice-cream with a twist of caramel. There are many flavours to choose from so pick your own. Plus it is free to try. One tub can have 2 flavours mixed.

Quality ice-cream comes with higher price, two quart like what we purchased here cost RM60.xx. But I can assure you on the ice-cream quality. It is better than Hagen-Dazz. At least that is what I feel.
